Maurice Warner started the Cellar Folk Club at Kyrle Hall in 1968, with student residents "the Pilgrim Folk Four". The club moved to the Red Lion Hotel in Grey street, sometime in 1969, but at this moment in time nothing more is known about it.
The club planned a Folk Festival on Feb 3rd with guests Derek McEwan, the Grehan Sisters and Alex Campbell as guests, but no further details are known about this.
