The Wexfords line up was: Dave Bevan, vocals, Keith Kerans, Banjo & guitar, Andy Hill, harmony singer and John Davies.
John Davies believe the clubs first night opened with the Fureys who lived in Birmingham in the late 60's and the club was fortunate enough to have some of the finest artists come to see us. Mick Hipkiss from the Skillet Pot was a regular and Brian Patten could always be guaranteed to provide some fine fiddle playing.
