On Saturday July 3rd 1966 an overnight Folk Festival was held at Windmill House, Weather Oak, nr Alvechurch. Running from 10.30pm to 06.00am it featured Diz Dizley as the main guest, plus many local Midlands artists and dance groups. It was organised by the Birmingham Association of Youth Clubs Members Council, presumably to support local youth clubs.
