The aim  was to be able to run a successful folk festival in an inner city area, and this it did from 1984 to 1987, but unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, it was unable to take place in 1988. It was intended to start as a brand new festival in 1989, but this never materialised . Copies of the Festival programmes and leaflets can be seen for 1984, 85 and 87.
