"What's On" in the MIdlands was a monthly diary of music song and dance in the Midlands produced by Joe Smith for a long time. Joe and his wife  produced the magazine from their home in Coventry and each month he used to drive round the area hand delivering the magazines. It comprised of folk club adverts and guest listings, dance group venues and ceilidh dates and festival news and agency information. When he was no longer able to produce the magazine it was taken over by Tony Ware, who ran it for a while. Tony passed running the magazine to Pam Bishop in January 2008, and she ran it until March 2015 when it was taken over by Kingston Press. They finally stopped printing  Folk Monthly in January 2020. I have a copy from April 1976, which I have produced it its entirety below.
